We started out by spinning up fractional engineering leaders and 40h/week contract and contract to hire engineers for startups.

We quickly got a lot of requests to help teams hire full time engineers as well and now also offer recruiting as a service.

We do this is in a non-traditional way because we think there are issues with traditional recruiting models - they’re too expensive, recruiters are generally bad at assessing candidate fit, recruiters have low response rates

  • The sourcers hit rate on week one is typically 70-80% and then 90%+ week two and beyond
  • We place a lot of trust in our sourcers, they’re the people source independent contractors for us internally
